Fit for the Queen the herself

Queenstown is dominated by these huge, jagged mountains the most prominent range is called the Remarkables and they truly are! It’s a mountain town- the tourist shops and cafes are all nested together at the bottom of the slopes of surrounding peaks. It was built up in the gold rush but now its industry is all about adventure tourism. In the winter, it’s a ski town, in the summer it’s a sky diving, jetboat buzzing, mountain biking launch. Eventhough the town is bustling with young people from all over the world, just a few kms out of town there are campsites with views that are almost too good to be true.
